Appology to Liam
I have been recently updating my blog entries, backdating them and adding pictures. And I realized that the majority of pictures are of Maia. And I feel guilty. I mean, true, she is going through that really cute stage that just begs for pictures to be taken. But I feel like I am showing favoritism...and I don't mean to. I LOVE Liam to pieces, and there is so much worth showing of him. I just don't tend to take pictures of it. Maybe because I am too busy enjoying the here-and-now of it. But still, I felt I owed him a (silent) apology for not having his pictures plastered all over my blog. I will try harder to get more pictures of him, and wrote more about him.

Happy 7th Birthday!
Liam is now 7! Totally crazy, almost hard to believe. He's been around forever...but yet I only just had him. A smart, handsome, (mostly) polite, thoughtful, inquisitive, imaginative, sensitive, playful, wonderful boy.
I made him a fez, which he has been begging me for.
Here is his birthday party at the ISC, with the kids.
Another Tardis cake.
His best friend (and girlfriend) Willa.
Happy Birthday!
Blue icing!
He went from this:
To this:
Both make my heart melt. Does yours?
Here are some pictures from the family birthday party.
Naturally, a cake with the Tardis on it (and my attempt at a Dalek).

A random Saturday morning with Maia
Just a random Saturday morning with the kids. I found Maia happily reading in her room.
So we walked to Wawa for a snack. Maia was very thrilled to be outside, especially after she found a large stick to play with (what is it with kids and sticks?).
Liam was also happy to be out enjoying the warmth (hequickly discarded his scarf) and asked me to take this picture.
Upon returning home, Maia found a rainbow on the floor was was quickly amused that she could have rainbow-toes.
Then she declared she wanted to go outside after breakfast

Crafting with Grandmom
Grandmom brought a surprise with her when she came over on her usual Wednesday evening. Crafts! Saint Patrick's Day themed crafts. Liam whipped through his really quick (I was busy cleaning and didn't remember to take any pictures...bad me), and then Grandmom helped Maia with hers.
Maia really loved putting the gemstones on. She would point Grandmom to where to put the drop of glue and then she would place the gem.
Then it had to dry, so I will have to help her finish and will post pictures when that happens.

Winter Pictures
I am behind on posts, I am combining January and February's pictures.
One of Liam's gifts arrived late (we told him Santa had taken it to the wrong place, but really it was that it was coming from the UK and took a while). It was waiting for him on the bed when we got home from our West Virginia trip. How awesome is that?
My kids love doing crazy things together. They were having some sort of game involving chewing Doritos and making noise.
Liam was dressed very handsomely one day (which tends to happen due to dressing up like the Doctor), and asked me to do a photo shoot. Here are some of the better pictures.
We usually bathe the kids together in the interest of time...gives them each someone to play with, and it makes them tolerate the scrubbing and pouring better. And then they usually snuggle together in their towels afterwards. I swear they are both in there.
Maia had to bring in a poster for her "All About Me Week". Matt did a great job.

Happy Valentine's Day
Liam wasn't around for Valentine's Day, so only Maia was in the photo shoot. She wanted her mittens on, and they actually go with the pictures. What a little ham.
This was Valentine's Day dinner, at Brio Tuscan Grill. Maia helped me eat the amazing Ghirardhelli Dark Chocolate Mousse Cake that I had for desert. Mmmmmmmmmm.
